At the ongoing 2019 Chicago Auto Show, Toyota has brought a heavy off-road version of the RAV4 SUV called the RAV4 TRD Off-Road 2020.
The 5th generation of Toyota RAV4 has been spectacularly transformed, increasing off-road capacity in its 2019 version. Just one year later, Toyota brought to the 2019 Auto Chicago Auto Show exhibition the “pure” RAV4 model named RAV4 TRD Off-Road.
Horrendous and Dreamlike Operation of Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road 2020
After the introduction of Toyota for this RAV4 TRD Off-Road 2020 version, almost everyone pays attention to its horsepower capability which is now competing with the special supersedes. As the matter of fact, the car has previously considered one fastest choice ever with the strong engine in comparison with other products in the same market segment.

Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road will be sold from this fall. Although developed specifically for off-road terrain based on the Adventure version but the suspension, the RAV4 TRD Off-Road’s rims and tires still support well on-road conditions.
According to Toyota, the TRD Off-Road’s suspension system is designed to increase body control and keep it stable when crossing rough roads. TRD has developed a specially focused shock absorber for off-road capability, which can respond thanks to two pressure regulators quickly.
Full-time all-wheel drive (AWD) with torque distribution (Dynamic Torque Vectoring) can transmit 50% of torque to the rear wheels and distribute power to the left or right rear wheels to lift High operability. As a result, the car handles better even in on-road and off-road conditions. Also, the Rear Driveline Disconnect system will disconnect the drive after necessary, saving fuel.
The system of off-road Multi-Terrain Select drive modes helps the driver optimize the traction of the vehicle through modes: Mud – Sand, Stone – Dust and Snow. In off-road mode, the information screen on the RAV4 will display information about torque distribution and anti-slip control status.
Some of the other technologies that appear on RAV4 TRD Off-Road are supported for steep-level departures (HAC), trailer pulls control systems (TSC) and downhill assistance systems (DAC).
Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road 2020 is equipped with a naturally aspirated engine of 4 2.5L cylinders producing 203 horsepower. This product comes with a Direct-Shift 8-speed automatic transmission. It has three driving modes: Sport, Normal, and Eco. Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road has a drag of 1,587 kg, allowing towing a personal canoe, ATV or light trailer.
Overall, the RAV4 TRD Off-Road looks better than the standard RAV4 thanks to its large fenders, more bunker front bumpers, finely tuned grille, LED fog lights and roof rack. This version has an exclusive two tone color scheme which is a light gray body and a white hood.
The remaining color schemes include Midnight black, Lunar Rock blue (white hood option), Ruby Flare Pearl and white Pearl Super White. Inside the cabin, customers will receive red embroidered furniture, some red decorative details, soft leather upholstered seats and the TRD logo appear in the headrests, floor mats, and trunk.
