The second GRMN Toyota Century in the world has officially been exposed to exterior paint in contrast to the first one.
Since its first appearance in Japan in September last year, there have been rumors that the luxury sedan, Century GRMN, manufactured by Toyota is not the only one car. And it is the truth.
While the first Century GRMN with a white “shirt” had a public debut on the Fuji Speedway racetrack with the president Akio Toyoda last week, the second one with a black paint color suddenly appeared at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2019 exhibition.
It is not clear whether the black Century GRMN can only be reserved for Mr. Akio as a white version. However, the common point of this duo is that they all carry license plates “1867” in the premiere. This figure represents the birth year of the founder of Toyota and Mr. Akio’s old grandfather – Mr. Sakichi Toyoda.
One of the most unique features of the Century GRMN is its ability to run entirely on electricity. It can travel at an average of 30mph (or 48km/h) in urban driving condition, and stretch a course of 20km.
With the Supra sports car has just been reborn, fans expect Century GRMN will also be put into commercial production, not merely a promotional product for its Gazoo Racing division.
The power of McLaren P1 lies in its hybrid aerodynamic system, which is a combination of a 3.8-liter V8 with dual turbocharges and a high-efficiency electrical engine, in conjunction with a duel-clutch transmission and a rear-wheel-drive layout.
Similar to the White GRMN, the black version of the body kit also includes contrasting red decorative details, BBS light alloy wheels with Yokohama Advan Sports tires, large brakes, and rear spoiler made of carbon fiber.

The engine of this particular Century has not been revealed by the Japanese automaker. However, because the product is a high-performance branch of GRMN, it is likely that the strength of the model will be improved compared to the 425 horsepower figure of the base version using a 5.0L V8 petrol engine combined. The only reason for that fact is its electric motor.
Dubbed the “Japanese Rolls-Royce,” Century is sold exclusively in the domestic market and is favored by the royal family or high-ranking government officials of this country. This car is also armed with a high-performance braking system. It has braking discs that are made from the special material. The set of tires is developed with wonderful component on its front and rear wheels.
Toyota is the company in charge of developing the Century set of tires with special components and architecture built to maximize the car’s performance. Due to the complicated assembly process, Toyota could only sell at most 50 Century cars per month, at a price of no less than $ 180,000.
